A Quick Peep

Hello, faithful readers.

It's late, but, it seems like I write late often, so why not, eh?

Before we begin, new banner. Check it.

(Disclaimer: Totally NOT made by me. I got it from deviantART.)

Twitter, it seems, has became a part of my life... Hows about that, eh? (Second use already, weird.) It's an enjoyable and strange beast. I managed to get Russell Brand to say something in an interview after he requested ideas from twitter. That, my friends, is the true glory of twitter. And I do recommend it, if you're frequently bored and/or often feel the need to express an opinion and no one you know will care. For real.

(I'm looking at you, Race. Embrace the Twitter ;). Honest, it only hurts for a moment.)

Anyhoodle, enough of that.

I bought both a Superman AND A Batman t-shirt yesterday. Awesome. Truly.

Little Shop Of Horrors started acting today. Much fun. Playing a sadistic dentist is a hoot. As is playing a failed jewish florist, but just not as much. Though, I'm thinking this is officially my excuse to buy a trilby, as it's actually part of my costume. So, that's that.

One last thing (I'm avoiding anything too wallowy, because it's a very long, long story, which I'm considering immortalizing in film. Maybe. Probably not.), if you happen to have read the last script I posted -- which I wrote very little of, so don't blame me for any typing or grammar mistakes (:-P) -- did you enjoy? If so, we're starting episode 2 soon (Entitled "Tired Of England", my choice again), and I'm hoping I'll actually be taking lead on this due to various circumstances, and shall post here just for you!

See how nice I am?

Anyway. Must dash. May write something other than this tonight, who knows.

Fare-thee-well, faithful readers.

Me = 0 - Door Frame = 1...

Hello faithful readers.

Firstly, I will beat that door frame eventually! *shakes fist*

Only a small casualty on my part, little knuckle cut. I bet it has some serious psychological damage... so... yeah...

(The reasons for door frame punching are long and with a slight whiff of self pity [well, to me at least. Gah.] and not for boring you loverly people with. Suffice it to say, not my best day.)

Anyway, for those of you looking at my tweets and thinking "Why, David, how ever did you manage to reference BSG and Doc Who in your English exam?", that is a good question. Even if you're not, I'll answer, 'cause I'm nice like that.

We had a short story [not seen before] to analyse, and it was about a dead guy going through a day or something weird like that, and it was vaguely cyclical. And so, in all my Geeky glory, I directly quoted BSG [without quote marks of course ha] with "all of this has happened before, and will happen again". Who knew I'd ever fit that in, eh? ha

Doc Who is less reference, unless you're me, really. I started thinking about "The Girl In The Fireplace" [who knows why, really] and found myself writing about taking the slow path [like Madame De Pompadour does]. Heh.

Anyhoodle, for a 3 hour exam, wasn't that bad. People to see, there, which I always enjoy.

(That, again, is not to be boring you on here ha)

Driving lesson in a bit. Not sure how bothered I can be, really. But, there we go.

Oh, that group writing contest episode is finished. I admittedly didn't contribute an awful lot, mostly some story points, I gave them the episode title, and I edited the teaser to make it better [despite NOT wanting that Car Crash in the first episode, just saying], but, I'll link you all, since, again, I'm nice like that. I'm hoping to write more for Episode 2, which I'll also post.

Enjoy.

And, thus, faithful reader, I bid thee, adieu.

Ta-wit, ta-woo.

Welcome, Faithful [and now possibly doubled in size] Readers.

Twitter. Strange thing, isn't it? Immensely addictive, especially following such intellectual giants as Stephen Fry, yet, a strange phenomenon. My iPhone got me hooked, all those apps, I just had to see.

But, I digress. One of the main points, basically, is this: What do YOU think about twitter? Do you twit? Or tweet, as it were? Or are you one of the [presumably many] who just don't really get it? Opinions would be nice, to see the varying views on this strange 140 character limit "micro-blogging"... thing...

Now, speaking of digressing, I need to write. Like, write write. I have a creative writing folio [Script and Prose] and a dissertation to do. Blast. Who new Advanced Higher English would be so much work, it sounds so much like a breeze...

And, on a closing, unrelated tidbit about my day, I spent much of lunch time playing the classic "...In My Pants" game. For those unfamiliar, it involves taking a movie title, and putting "... In my pants" after it.

Par example:
 -- Trainspotting... in my pants
-- Batman Begins... in my pants
-- Deep Impact... in my pants
-- The Two Towers... in my pants

Just to name a few we got. Yeah. That's what we do at lunch times when bored, that and the occasional innuendo binge. True story.

Alas, I have nothing more to write... Ah Well.

Fare thee well, faithful readers. [The "Faithful Readers", btw, is in reference to Russel T. Davies on the Doctor Who Audio Commentaries. Yup. I'm that much of a nerd. And proud.]

I guess there's more tonight...

It's pretty much official, I'm a huge nerd. Ha

I don't care, though. Nerdness should be embraced.

Whedonverse, Galactica, Doctor Who, Star Wars, great.

Rewatching some BSG now.

Dollhouse starting soonish. Oh yeah.

Peace... Again.
